1983 – 宏船长老第二次回中国

6月16日，16人访问团。宏船长老率领一个由15位佛教徒组成的代表团第二次访问中国。

6月16日抵达北京，受到赵朴初及中国佛教协会领导们的诚挚欢迎。

6月17日，他们为宏船长老举行了一场欢迎会，国务院宗教事务局乔连升局长应邀光临宴会。

6月18日，全国人大副委员长班禅大师会见了宏船长老。

宏船长老在明旸法师（中国佛教协会常务理事及上海龙华寺住持）、游骧 （中国佛教协会副秘书长）、赵国忱 （中国佛教协会办公室副主任）及王健武先生的陪同下参访了北京、上海、宁波、杭州、福州、厦门、泉州、晋江、莆田、广州。他也参拜了19个佛教场所， 北京的广济寺、法源寺、佛牙舍利寺、上海的玉佛寺、龙华寺、圆明讲堂、宁波的天童寺、育王寺、七塔寺、杭州的灵隐寺、福州的鼓山涌泉寺、西禅寺、地藏寺、厦门的南普陀寺、泉州的开元寺、崇福寺、慕西爱苑、莆田的广化寺、广州的六榕寺。此行，也游览了名胜古迹，探访了工农生产建设，进行了讲学等弘法活动，还不忘回访家乡为会泉长老扫墓、祭祖和探亲。

宏船长老于7月6日离境。此访华，宏船长老为中新佛教架起一座友好之桥，也播下友谊的种子。

1983 Venerable Hong Choon returned to China for the second time.

On 16 June, Venerable Seck Hong Choon led a group of 15 Buddhist devotees on a second visit to China.

They arrived in Beijing on 16 June and were given a cordial welcome by Zhao Puchu and the leaders of Buddhist Association of China.

A banquet was held on 17 June to officially welcome Venerable Seck Hong Choon. Qiao Liansheng, the Director of the National Religious Affairs Administration, was also in attendance.

On 18 June, His Holiness, the Panchen Lama, Vice-Chairman of the National’s People Congress, met with Venerable Seck Hong Choon. Accompanied by the leaders of the Buddhist Association of China, Venerable Seck Hong Choon and his entourage later visited the provinces and cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, Jingjiang, Putian and Guangzhou successively. He also visited 19 Buddhist sites, namely Beijing’s Guangji Temple, Fayuan Temple, Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Shanghai’s Jade Buddha Temple, Longhua Temple. Yuanming Jiangtang, Ningbo’s Tiantong Temple, Temple of King Ashoka, Qita Temple, Hangzhou’s Lingyin Temple, Fuzhou’s Gushan Yongquan Temple, Xichan Temple, Dizang Temple, Xiamen’s Nanputuo Temple, Quanzhou’s Kaiyuan Temple, Chongfu Temple, Mu Xi Ai Yuan, Putian’s Guanghua Temple, and Guangzhou’s Temple of the Six Banyan Trees.

Venerable Seck Hong Choon left China on 6 July. This trip had helped to establish a bridge for friendly relations between Buddhism in China and Singapore.
