转道长老邀请圆瑛长老来新加坡弘法。圆瑛长老在厦门南普陀讲《楞严经》圆满，远渡南洋。因赴仰光朝礼大金塔，途中经过新加坡同转道长老会晤，其中有秦亮工领事和郑雨生居士。唔后，并请圆瑛法师在光明山讲《大乘起信论》。
The prominent Venerable Shi Yuan Ying was invited by Venerable Sik Zhuan Dao to present a lecture on the classic Buddhist treatise “Awakening of Faith in the Mahayana” at KMSPKS.
Prior to this invitation, Venerable Shi Yuan Ying had completed a Dharma talk on the Surangama Sutra at Xiamen’s Nanputuo Temple. While on his journey to Southeast Asia, he met with Venerable Sik Zhuan Dao during a visit to the sacred Shwedagon Pagoda in Myanmar. Notably, Consulate Qin Liang Gong and Tay Woo Seng were among the delegates present at this meeting. It was at this meeting that Venerable Sik Zhuan Dao extended the invitation to Venerable Shi Yuan Ying.
