Following Singapore’s independence in 1965, Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery organised the nation’s inaugural ‘Grand Prayer for World Peace’ puja ceremony, alongside two other venerations – ‘Triple Platform Ordination Ceremony’ and ‘The Grand Prayer that Blesses and Benefits all Sentient Beings’.
