现今禅寺内依然完好地收藏着为了纪念那次1966年的法会，宏船长老定制了一座站钟。站钟上清楚可见这样的刻字：“为了纪念光明山普觉禅寺开山住持转道老和尚建寺45周年，并且为了实现转道老和尚的遗愿，举办律仪学会（三坛大戒）、启建水陆大斋胜会和‘祈祷世界和平大会’。”
时光褪去，再次见到旧照片和站钟，仍可感受到那次法会的成功举办而带来的欣然。
This invaluable photo captured the inaugural of ‘The Grand Prayer that Blesses and Benefits all Sentient Beings’ organised by Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery on the lunar 24th day of the 11th month in 1966.
In remembrance of the ceremony, the monastery safe keeps this photo, as well as an old standing clock which Venerable Seck Hong Choon had custom ordered to mark the occasion. Engraved on the standing clock, this set of inscriptions can be read: In memory of the 45th anniversary of the founding Abbot Venerable Sik Zhuan Dao’s establishment of Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, and in fulfilment of Venerable Zhuan Dao’s last wish of organising a puja ceremony with the three kinds of veneration combined – ‘Triple Platform Ordination Ceremony’, ‘The Grand Prayer that Blesses and Benefits all Sentient Beings’ and ‘Grand Prayer for World Peace’.
Even as time goes by, this old photo and the standing clock still brings back fond memories of the joy in successfully organising the puja ceremony.
