摄影的地点是旧大雄宝殿前。光明山普觉禅作为本地活跃的宗教团体从新加坡宗教联谊会办会以来便积极参与活动，尽一份力，推动我国多元宗教和谐。
This huge group photo is in remembrance of the Inter-Religious Organisation (IRO), Singapore’s group meeting cum luncheon party held on 5th February 1968 in honour of the Rt. Hon. Mr Malcolm MacDonald, Founding Member and Patron of IRO, Singapore.
The photo-taking site was at the front facade of the old Hall of Great Strength in Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery. As a religious organisation in Singapore, the monastery is actively involved in the events of the IRO since its founding, and the monastery plays its part in promoting social cohesion and harmony in multi-religious Singapore.
